Learning English is a journey, and every student learns differently. At Startalk, we adjust our lessons to each student’s level, needs, and pace. Through regular practice, encouragement, and engaging activities, students can gradually build their skills and become more confident English speakers.

Our students currently come mainly from South Korea, with students also joining us from China, Taiwan, New Zealand, Vietnam, Japan, and other locations.
Our goal is to provide students with a comfortable, engaging, and supportive learning environment where they can develop their English skills and become more confident in using English.
Classes are conducted online through Zoom or Tencent Meeting, depending on the student’s country and the platform that is most convenient and accessible.
We offer flexible 30-minute and 60-minute classes for both children and adults.
Our children’s classes are designed to make learning English enjoyable, interactive, and meaningful. Lessons are tailored to each student’s age, level, and learning needs and may include:
Storybooks and reading activities
Workbooks and textbooks
Educational games
Vocabulary and grammar practice
Free-talking and conversation activities
Speaking, listening, reading, and comprehension exercises
(For students who are just beginning to learn English, we recommend starting with the basics before moving into conversational classes. Students who have little or no English background may find free-talking or conversation lessons challenging because they may not yet have enough vocabulary or confidence to communicate.
Beginner students can start by learning simple greetings, everyday words and expressions, picture-based vocabulary, basic sentence patterns, and phonics. These activities help students become familiar with English sounds, words, and simple communication in a fun and comfortable way.)
We also offer English lessons for adults who want to improve their communication skills for everyday life, travel, work, or professional situations. Adult classes include:
Business English
Grammar
Free-talking and conversation
Customized lessons based on the student’s English level and learning goals
For quality assurance and class management, classes may be recorded with the parent’s prior consent. For children’s classes, parents may request access to the recorded class so they can review the lesson and monitor their child’s learning progress.
To help students reinforce what they have learned, homework may be provided after class. These activities are designed to give students an opportunity to review the lesson, practice important skills, and strengthen their memory and retention of new vocabulary, grammar, and expressions.

Before beginning your first regular classes, we give a free 10-minute class to all
interested students. One purpose is to assess the level. This way, the teacher will be able to choose an appropriate book for the student. This will also give the students a chance to get to know the teacher-the personality, and teaching
style.
After the trial class, the student will then decide if he takes a class with the teacher or not. The student has the right to choose another teacher for another trial class if the student isn’t satisfied.
Of course, you can have more than one teacher to help you learn in the academy!

Most of our students are currently from South Korea, so our tuition fees are listed in Korean Won (KRW). For students and parents from other countries, you may simply convert the tuition fee from Korean Won (KRW) to your local currency using the current exchange rate at the time of payment.
